With a left leg Hjalmar Lidström saved FC Momlinho from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Johannes Rosin managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Momlinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Johannes Rosin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zbigniew Laba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ni Yuan Hao in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zbigniew Laba saved White Star Troopers from getting behind. Kurt Aspengren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbigniew Laba having to interfere. A hard shot 25 in the game by Klaas Jan van der Meer from a close distance when the talented Hjalmar Lidström managed to make a qualified save. FC Momlinho's players were relieved. Klaas Jan van der Meer did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Hjalmar Lidström 25 minutes into the match. Zbigniew Laba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Bolin in the 29th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Klaas Jan van der Meer got free with Hjalmar Lidström in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the match, White Star Troopers's goal looked a bit too open when Ni Yuan Hao came free, but Zbigniew Laba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. White Star Troopers's Zbigniew Laba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Koller in the 37th minute of play. Hjalmar Lidström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo León, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucas Bolin hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo León in the 42nd minute of play forced FC Momlinho's goalkeeper Hjalmar Lidström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute Ni Yuan Hao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbigniew Laba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute of the match, Wilfredo León tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hjalmar Lidström saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan Koller made a kick off. Wilfredo León scored 2-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hjalmar Lidström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hjalmar Lidström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szymon Labus in the 58th minute of the match. Harald Jelm hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 68th match minute, FC Momlinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harald Jelm to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute of the game, Adam Proca landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 71 minutes into the game, Kurt Aspengren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Momlinho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave White Star Troopers the free kick. White Star Troopers's Jerzy Jastrowicz was substituted for Adam Proca. The supporters of White Star Troopers booed when FC Momlinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Aspengren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johannes Rosin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Zbigniew Laba made a huge save. In the 80th minute, Klaas Jan van der Meer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, White Star Troopers's Wilfredo León got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, Wilfredo León ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hjalmar Lidström was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The White Star Troopers fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Momlinho had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
