Mathias Lecanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aristide Iftodi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Lecanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The supporters of Lyon 69ers booed when CF REALCipri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viorel Cordescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tom Beaune struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Aristide Iftodi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lyon 69ers. Pierre Peeters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurel Zeciu in the 22nd minute of the match. CF REALCipri's Aristide Iftodi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles-Henri Maron in the 40th minute of play. Tom Beaune received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aristide Iftodi came out and tried to block the shot, but Tom Beaune slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 42nd minute. Pierre Peeters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valeriu Marin in the 45th minute of the match. Mathias Lecanu's late challenge caught a CF REALCipri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mathias Lecanu helped the player get up and apologised. Mathias Lecanu kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Charles-Henri Maron to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Valeriu Marin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pierre Peeters was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Aristide Iftodi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charles-Henri Maron's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Pierre Peeters came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by CF REALCipri's Aurel Zeciu. But to his dismay, Aurel Zeciu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurel Zeciu got free with Pierre Peeters in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Lyon 69ers getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Mathias Lecanu hit a great ball. CF REALCipri's Lucrețiu Buligan was substituted for Viorel Cordescu. CF REALCipri's Vasile Petruescu was substituted for Codruț Calota. Mathias Lecanu kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Pierre Peeters was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Valeriu Marin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 69 minute of play. If Mathias Lecanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vasile Petruescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
