FC Fura Balizas's Long Gang Sen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Ekaitz in the 59th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Olívio Ribas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lin Mo Hong. Curumalán AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olívio Ribas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. FC Fura Balizas's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugeniusz Sanocki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lin Mo Hong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Curumalán AFC's goalkeeper Lin Mo Hong, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A well-hit corner resulted in Lisandro Palhares heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.
