The throw-in from Vicente Mafra in the 5th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Mamina FC's Benjamin Romildo. When Gregório Neiva came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Mira United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregório Neiva couldn't finish the play. Gregório Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Elpidio Clodio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gregório Neiva in the 14th minute. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mamina FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Feng Cheng Ling was slow to take the kick. During this time Mira United FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Mira United FC's corner Feng Cheng Ling fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Elpidio Clodio quite easily take care of the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Mira United FC's Gregório Neiva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elpidio Clodio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Claudio Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th match minute, Mamina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Lopez to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Mira United FC's Gregório Neiva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elpidio Clodio. That made the score 2-0 after 29 minutes of play. The supporters of Mira United FC booed when Mamina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Jordy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mamina FC's attentive Claudio Lopez managed to snatch the ball when Dércio Moreira made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. Victorino Toribio took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eriberto Bonadona. Eriberto Bonadona dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, Mamina FC's Claudio Lopez got a free kick in the 41st minute. Gregório Neiva might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elpidio Clodio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregório Neiva ran back to his position shaking his head. Mamina FC's Elpidio Clodio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregório Neiva in the 42nd minute of play. Mira United FC's Dércio Moreira quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Claudio Lopez, made in the 43rd minute of the game. When Gregório Neiva came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Mira United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregório Neiva couldn't finish the play. After having played for 46 minutes, Gregório Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mira United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregório Neiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
Elpidio Clodio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregório Neiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Elpidio Clodio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gregório Neiva went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After 59 played minutes Mamina FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Lopez. Elpidio Clodio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregório Neiva in the 63rd minute of the match. Ademar Ramires kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 69th minute of the game was made by Dércio Moreira with Gregório Neiva as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Elpidio Clodio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregório Neiva in the 70th minute of play. Elpidio Clodio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregório Neiva in the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Messias in the 75th minute of play forced Mamina FC's goalkeeper Elpidio Clodio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elpidio Clodio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilberto Messias went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. After 78 minutes, Benjamin Romildo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mamina FC and the Mira United FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute Gregório Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Clodio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 played minutes Mira United FC got a freekick which was hit by Nel Ybarbo. Elpidio Clodio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregório Neiva in the 85th minute of play. Gregório Neiva took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elpidio Clodio. Elpidio Clodio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. A collision led to Mamina FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Silvestre Avellaneda hit a great ball. Elpidio Clodio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregório Neiva in the 95th minute of play. Mira United FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
