Mulgimaa Kosilased's Nazmija Stojković got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th match minute, SAO JOANENSE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Motta to maneuver through the defense. Jardel Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Lamego having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nazmija Stojković in the 18th minute of play forced SAO JOANENSE FC's goalkeeper Amadeu Lamego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mulgimaa Kosilased's Nazmija Stojković got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 26 in the game by Luisinho Netto from a close distance when the talented Sulev Vaht managed to make a qualified save. Mulgimaa Kosilased's players were relieved. Luisinho Netto had several of the Mulgimaa Kosilased's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 26 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Sulev Vaht as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience was convinced that Nazmija Stojković's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amadeu Lamego was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 30th minute of the match Mulgimaa Kosilased got a corner. SAO JOANENSE FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. When Mulgimaa Kosilased's Nazmija Stojković in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mulgimaa Kosilased's Sulev Vaht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Dante in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Jairo Dante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Jairo Dante made the kick off in the second half. Amadeu Lamego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel Tróia, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. After a rather tough play, SAO JOANENSE FC's Carlos Eduardo Toledo got a free kick in the 52nd minute. When Mulgimaa Kosilased's Nazmija Stojković in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 62 minutes of play SAO JOANENSE FC's Osmar França was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Osmar França kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Amadeu Lamego came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mulgimaa Kosilased's Nazmija Stojković. But to his dismay, Nazmija Stojković quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 68th match minute, SAO JOANENSE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisinho Netto to maneuver through the defense. Ernst Murumaa kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. SAO JOANENSE FC's Carlos Eduardo Toledo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 71st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mulgimaa Kosilased. A collision led to Mulgimaa Kosilased getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Mihail Ciuvică hit a great ball. Júnior Maciel tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Amadeu Lamego. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-2 in the 77th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Mulgimaa Kosilased's Jardel Tróia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amadeu Lamego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. André Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, SAO JOANENSE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nazmija Stojković came free, but Amadeu Lamego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
