In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ovalle City's goalkeeper Pawel Siedlecki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rosendo Bottaro FC's Agustin Maldonado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joe Uytterhaegen in the 19th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Jonathan Herrera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner ended in Severino Coutinho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rosendo Bottaro FC's Agustin Maldonado did a great save. Elias Cortes kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Ovalle City's Anacleto Mascayano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agustin Maldonado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The supporters of Rosendo Bottaro FC booed when Ovalle City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Palma didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Joe Uytterhaegen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ovalle City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 武桑锋 hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Joe Uytterhaegen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agustin Maldonado was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.
