Marcus Vase tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vinicio Perico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 15 in the game by Vinicio Perico from a close distance when the talented Marcus Vase managed to make a qualified save. Sundens BK's players were relieved. The supporters of Joystick XXXV booed when Sundens BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Arne Ahlfors didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basilio Fidensio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Pudes in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Pudes in the 26th minute of play forced Joystick XXXV's goalkeeper Basilio Fidensio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Joystick XXXV's Mauricio Mingo got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute Eustaquio Pudes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Fidensio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Vinicio Perico had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcus Vase. Sundens BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vinicio Perico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Eustaquio Pudes scored 1-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Basilio Fidensio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41st match minute, Joystick XXXV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anibal Taurino to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Vinicio Perico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Marcus Vase showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Henric, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Börje Törnblom's late challenge caught a Joystick XXXV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Börje Törnblom helped the player get up and apologised. Börje Törnblom kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. A collision led to Sundens BK getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ingvar Nordal hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sundens BK's zone, Anibal Taurino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Vase came out of the goal and Anibal Taurino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Arne Ahlfors during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sundens BK's Sven-Arne Ahlfors got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75th match minute, Sundens BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Murdza to maneuver through the defense. Feliberto Pes took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcus Vase. Marcus Vase dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The Joystick XXXV supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sundens BK's performance. The match ended with a win for Sundens BK.
