A well-hit corner resulted in Richard Neto heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 26 minutes into the match, Social Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Lozovan came free, but Valdemar Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Lozovan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Social Futebol Clube's Valdemar Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Neto in the 29th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Limoeiro-PE FC's Raphael Macedo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valdemar Fontes. That made the score 4-0 after 31 minutes of play. Richard Neto scored 5-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdemar Fontes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the game, Robert Lozovan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valdemar Fontes. Robert Lozovan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robert Lozovan to make the kick off.
