Segundo Feijo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Leocadio in the 3rd minute of play. Breno Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Elazar in the 6th minute of the match. C.A Vientos Huracanados were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Scotland 1873's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jose Asier took the corner. The corner led C.A Vientos Huracanados's Marco Refugio to fire away a dangerous shot which Breno Bastos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C.A Vientos Huracanados! Breno Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Elazar in the 19th minute of play. Severo Elazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Breno Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Arixo in the 24th minute of play forced C.A Vientos Huracanados's goalkeeper Segundo Feijo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Scotland 1873 were awarded a corner. Leonel Gonzo went to the cornerflag to take it. Domingo Goyo tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Segundo Feijo. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-2 in the 25th minute. Segundo Feijo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidoro Pelayo went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Segundo Feijo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Leocadio, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Segundo Feijo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Pelayo in the 35th minute of the match. Severo Elazar kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, C.A Vientos Huracanados's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Leocadio came free, but Segundo Feijo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Breno Bastos came out of the goal and Nemesio Cordareo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Segundo Feijo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Leocadio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Nemesio Cordareo took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Breno Bastos to make any attempt to save it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severo Elazar was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, C.A Vientos Huracanados's goalkeeper Segundo Feijo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ermegildo Leocadio. Segundo Feijo was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Leonel Gonzo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonel Gonzo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. In the 66th minute Ermegildo Leocadio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Feijo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Asier during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Scotland 1873 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Scotland 1873 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
