The audience was convinced that Ted Almstedt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugenio Urbes was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 4th minute Ted Almstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Urbes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ted Almstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Maximiliano Argi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ted Almstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Brogren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Eugenio Urbes made a huge save. In the 20th minute Runa United were awarded a corner. Bo Eriksson went to the cornerflag to take it. Runa United's Bo Eriksson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eugenio Urbes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Frank Brogren's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eugenio Urbes firmly grabbed it by the left post. Eugenio Urbes came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Runa United's Ted Almstedt. But to his dismay, Ted Almstedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Hakkı Üngörmüş in the 31st minute of play forced Runa United's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Åhlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio Urbes made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Ted Almstedt sent off a good shot on target. Nils-Erik Åhlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Argi, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Stanislav Buznikin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Nils-Erik Åhlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute Marcos Ugaitz suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Frank Brogren charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank Brogren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Runa United's Frank Brogren got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stanislav Buznikin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Nils-Erik Åhlberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ted Almstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nils-Erik Åhlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanislav Buznikin in the 55th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bora18 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! In the 72nd minute Ted Almstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Urbes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Bora18's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Almstedt came free, but Eugenio Urbes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Runa United getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Ted Almstedt hit a great ball. Nils-Erik Åhlberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximiliano Argi in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute, Ted Almstedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bora18's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
