When Eliseo Frances fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC 1986 Vinalito's protests and gave Eliseo Frances a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Andreasson. With a little luck, AC 1986 Vinalito's Richmond De Worteleere got control of the ball when Arnaldo Basajaun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariusz Komornicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Frances in the 29th minute of the match. AC 1986 Vinalito's Richmond De Worteleere proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save AC 1986 Vinalito from getting a goal against them. When CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Arnaldo Basajaun in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Arnaldo Basajaun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mariusz Komornicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Frances, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Eliseo Frances succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 53rd playminute. 62 minutes into the match, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Bidun came free, but Mariusz Komornicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richmond De Worteleere didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnaldo Basajaun went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Acácio da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliseo Frances in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariusz Komornicki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute, Severo Argi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mariusz Komornicki. The goal made the score 2-2. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Ronaldo Håland was substituted for Arnaldo Basajaun. 84 minutes into the match, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Matthew came free, but Mariusz Komornicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
