The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Traian Curuțiu took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peter Bautmans. Peter Bautmans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. FC MeHigh's Iordache Albu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto Fenomeno in the 20th minute of play. Traian Curuțiu took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peter Bautmans. Peter Bautmans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The wind increased when Otto Fenomeno made the kick off in the second half. Peter Bautmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Traian Curuțiu in the 57th minute of play. Xuaco Fias replaced Isac Ţiriac. After 80 minutes, Karl Slegers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Bredene and the FC MeHigh players grew even worse after the yellow card. 81 minutes into the match, FC Bredene's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Dalmai came free, but Peter Bautmans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute Edgardo Dalmai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Bautmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC MeHigh were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after FC Bredene's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Saruhan Akyazıcı took the corner. In the 90th match minute, FC Bredene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cederic Van Hoeij to maneuver through the defense. The FC Bredene fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC MeHigh were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
