After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Ture Waller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Northland Vikings's supporters rose to their feet, but Ture Waller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Bautmans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to FC Bredene getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Karl Slegers hit a great ball. The corner led Northland Vikings's Ralf Allgöwer to fire away a dangerous shot which Peter Bautmans despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ture Waller got free with Peter Bautmans in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peter Bautmans was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Ture Waller capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ture Waller really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ture Waller in the 31st minute of play forced FC Bredene's goalkeeper Peter Bautmans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicklas Lindström made in the 34th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Andreas Falk. 35 minutes into the match, FC Bredene's goalkeeper Peter Bautmans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ture Waller. Nicklas Lindström's late challenge caught a FC Bredene's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicklas Lindström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Nicklas Lindström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter Bautmans was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ture Waller showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 44 minute of play. Peter Bautmans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ture Waller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The supporters of Northland Vikings booed when FC Bredene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Slegers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Bautmans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ture Waller, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Ture Waller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Northland Vikings's Andreas Falk got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of FC Bredene:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Northland Vikings:s goal. Gao Peng Ran placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 85th minute of the game Karl Slegers made a throw-in which Mai Si Liang played forward. After a rather tough play, Northland Vikings's Nicklas Lindström got a free kick in the 85th minute. FC Bredene's Peter Bautmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mel Speerschneider in the 88th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Gao Peng Ran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter Bautmans. FC Bredene's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gao Peng Ran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Northland Vikings had won after a very even match.
