If Rubén-Darío Insúa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, A.A. Zack Doughty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Merski having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Barney Barns was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Filip Merski managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Coventry Wasps's Camilo Ferrara fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Camilo Ferrara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filip Merski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomasz Kiszkiel in the 81st minute of play forced Coventry Wasps's goalkeeper Syd Cullen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of A.A. Pędzący Bimber booed when Coventry Wasps was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Ferrara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raf Vermaelen thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Syd Cullen, a very annoying self made goal in the 96th minute which led to 3-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Coventry Wasps players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for A.A. Pędzący Bimber.
