After 16 minutes Vänge IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fermin Martinez who took care of the corner kick. Arkadiusz Piatek took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciriaco Hernando. Ciriaco Hernando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 23 minutes into the game, Arkadiusz Piatek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ciriaco Hernando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 26th minute Arkadiusz Piatek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Hernando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arkadiusz Piatek took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciriaco Hernando. Ciriaco Hernando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Vänge IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Utopía Muerta FC:s goal. Ciriaco Hernando had in the 37thth minute some difficulties stopping Fermin Martinez's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Utopía Muerta FC's Fermin Martinez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciriaco Hernando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 41st minute, Arkadiusz Piatek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Utopía Muerta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. 45 minutes into the match, Vänge IF's goal looked a bit too open when Arkadiusz Piatek came free, but Ciriaco Hernando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Vänge IF made a substitution. Zoltán Tálas replaced Rune Aspengren. The wind increased when Bruno Giordani made the kick off in the second half. Ernani Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Mano Hume tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Utopía Muerta FC's Uriel Santiago got a free kick in the 59th minute. Geva Lia kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Utopía Muerta FC made a substitution. Armando Amarita replaced Anier Johans. Braulio Hibai struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Ciriaco Hernando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Utopía Muerta FC. Ernani Vargas hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Ciriaco Hernando was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Braulio Hibai showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 70 minute of play. Braulio Hibai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Hernando having to interfere. Severo Bermudo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ciriaco Hernando firmly grabbed it by the left post. Braulio Hibai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Utopía Muerta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Giordani came free, but Mano Hume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Giordani in the 80th minute of play forced Utopía Muerta FC's goalkeeper Mano Hume to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciriaco Hernando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Bermudo in the 81st minute of the match. The corner led Utopía Muerta FC's Armando Amarita to fire away a dangerous shot which Ciriaco Hernando despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mano Hume tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Vänge IF's goalkeeper Ciriaco Hernando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Amarita. Ciriaco Hernando was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Severo Bermudo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 96 minute of play. When the match was over Utopía Muerta FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vänge IF throughout the match.
