The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tales Lucas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciriaco Hernando having to make a save. Ciriaco Hernando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tales Lucas in the 3rd minute of play. Ciriaco Hernando didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tales Lucas went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Markus Albäck hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Ciriaco Hernando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tales Lucas's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Vänge IF's goalkeeper Ciriaco Hernando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tales Lucas. After some careless play in the Vänge IF defense, Tales Lucas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciriaco Hernando. The Vänge IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciriaco Hernando should have stopped the shot. When ReyPoxo's Tales Lucas in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vänge IF's goalie prevented a goal. Ciriaco Hernando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tales Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Vänge IF's zone, Tales Lucas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciriaco Hernando came out of the goal and Tales Lucas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Tales Lucas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciriaco Hernando was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. After having played for 31 minutes, Tales Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ReyPoxo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tales Lucas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When ReyPoxo's Tales Lucas in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vänge IF's goalie prevented a goal. 39 minutes into the match, Vänge IF's goalkeeper Ciriaco Hernando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tales Lucas. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tales Lucas in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciriaco Hernando saved Vänge IF from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Vänge IF made a substitution. Zoltán Tálas replaced Rune Aspengren. ReyPoxo's attentive Mutlu Oskan managed to snatch the ball when Geva Lia made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tales Lucas in the 55th minute of play forced Vänge IF's goalkeeper Ciriaco Hernando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zoilo Coira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Giordani's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Ciriaco Hernando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tales Lucas, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. ReyPoxo's Mutlu Oskan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Geva Lia in the 61 minute of the game. Ciriaco Hernando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tales Lucas's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. ReyPoxo made a substitution. Fabián Guijarro replaced Christer Collin. ReyPoxo made a substitution. Anatolio Gasso replaced Juan Pablo Yanovitskiy. ReyPoxo were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Vänge IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leif Larsen took the corner. In the 71st minute ReyPoxo were awarded a corner. Leif Larsen went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led ReyPoxo's Leif Larsen to fire away a dangerous shot which Ciriaco Hernando despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Zoilo Coira made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Markus Albäck sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute, Samuel Etoo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Bruno Giordani dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zoilo Coira, 3-1. In the 83rd minute, Samuel Etoo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciriaco Hernando was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. The throw-in from Anatolio Gasso in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Vänge IF's Geva Lia. After a rather tough play, ReyPoxo's Anatolio Gasso got a free kick in the 87th minute. After 88 played minutes Vänge IF got a freekick which was hit by Geva Lia. In the 90th minute Samuel Etoo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Hernando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 minutes, Samuel Etoo made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Vänge IF's Ciriaco Hernando tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
