The supporters of Gædd FK booed when TEIXEIRINHA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Finsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25thth minute of the game Kjetil Hellevik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TEIXEIRINHA FC's Doni das Neves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eskil Myhrvold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Finsberg in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Gædd FK getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Jonathan Eidsvik hit a great ball. A hard shot by Esteban Gentza from long distance, 36 minutes into the match, got Eskil Myhrvold's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Esteban Gentza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Eskil Myhrvold made a huge save. In the 39th minute TEIXEIRINHA FC were awarded a corner. Esteban Gentza went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Aírton Abreu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 46 played minutes TEIXEIRINHA FC got a freekick which was hit by Sivart Flammild. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kjetil Hellevik stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Despite this Eskil Myhrvold quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 76 minutes into the match, Gædd FK's goal looked a bit too open when Anderson Vaz came free, but Eskil Myhrvold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteban Gentza struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Eskil Myhrvold didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TEIXEIRINHA FC. Doni das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ken Ernstsen in the 81st minute of play. Fred Finsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eskil Myhrvold having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Anderson Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TEIXEIRINHA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anderson Vaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Esteban Gentza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
