Filip Bronder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christijan Schreuder in the 2nd minute of the match. A collision led to Verwachting getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Twan Hesseling hit a great ball. If Cesinha Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Bagge in the 7th minute of play forced Verwachting's goalkeeper Herbert Hilhorst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruud Geels in the 8th minute of play forced Fedaykin of Arrakeen's goalkeeper Filip Bronder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Slawomir Wieloch lost his temper 8 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fedaykin of Arrakeen! Filip Bronder had in the 10thth minute some difficulties stopping Harm de Freitas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Herbert Hilhorst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesinha Vargas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Cesinha Vargas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herbert Hilhorst was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Verwachting's goal looked a bit too open when Cesinha Vargas came free, but Herbert Hilhorst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Verwachting's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Harm de Freitas in the 20th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Ruud Geels heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Christijan Schreuder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Filip Bronder made a huge save. 25 minutes into the match, Verwachting's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Bagge came free, but Herbert Hilhorst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesinha Vargas struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Herbert Hilhorst didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fedaykin of Arrakeen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Bagge in the 29th minute of play forced Verwachting's goalkeeper Herbert Hilhorst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars Bagge might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herbert Hilhorst. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lars Bagge ran back to his position shaking his head. Filip Bronder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christijan Schreuder in the 34th minute. Twan Hesseling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filip Bronder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Twan Hesseling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 48 minutes into the match, Verwachting's goal looked a bit too open when Cesinha Vargas came free, but Herbert Hilhorst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesinha Vargas in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Hilhorst prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd minute Ruud Geels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Bronder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Hilhorst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesinha Vargas in the 64th minute of play. Ruud Geels hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Macedonio Bajo kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Herbert Hilhorst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesinha Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesinha Vargas in the 82nd minute of play forced Verwachting's goalkeeper Herbert Hilhorst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesinha Vargas scored 0-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herbert Hilhorst, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Fedaykin of Arrakeen booed when Verwachting was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phoenix Soare didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Verwachting's goalkeeper Herbert Hilhorst had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lars Bagge. Fedaykin of Arrakeen's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
