Slipmaskinerna's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Paolo Kinsen scored to the left of an out of position Zorion Carić, making the score, 1-0. Amadeo Rainerio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peanut Lord went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Peanut Lord's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeo Rainerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Slipmaskinerna's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Kinsen came free, but Zorion Carić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Jatsu got free with Zorion Carić in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Copérnico F.C. getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Octavio Iigo hit a great ball. Amadeo Rainerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peanut Lord, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Zorion Carić made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Agustin Raymon sent off a good shot on target. Zorion Carić was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Paolo Kinsen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paolo Kinsen really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Gonzalo Fraco kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paolo Kinsen was the one to do the kick off. Manuel Jatsu took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zorion Carić. Zorion Carić dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Copérnico F.C.'s Amadeo Rainerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peanut Lord in the 57th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Don Frye suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Alvaro Montrell fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Copérnico F.C.'s protests and gave Alvaro Montrell a yellow card for diving instead. Slipmaskinerna's Mastur Bates was substituted for Don Frye. Zorion Carić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Kinsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peanut Lord got free with Amadeo Rainerio in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 84 minutes into the match, Copérnico F.C.'s goalkeeper Amadeo Rainerio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peanut Lord. In the 86th match minute, Slipmaskinerna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karin Juniors to maneuver through the defense. Zorion Carić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Hurko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Amadeo Rainerio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 91st minute Agustin Raymon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zorion Carić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Greger Varghede hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zorion Carić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Kinsen in the 94th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Copérnico F.C. were the better team. Copérnico F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
