When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Asiz Soon took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Mieszko Karanowski to make any attempt to save it. Atahan Balon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Fernández in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Brion in the 37th minute of play forced Wisła Kraków Old Boys's goalkeeper Mieszko Karanowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Wincent Solak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atahan Balon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atahan Balon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Fernández, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karahan Bilkan in the 91st minute of play. Fabio Bencivenni scored 2-3 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mieszko Karanowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
