Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Warner Anaya started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Leopoldo Aimar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 5 minutes into the match, Alianza FC's Marin Ciprian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santos Perez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Orkatz Remolino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Warner Anaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, Marin Ciprian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alianza FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Alianza FC's Orkatz Remolino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arden Poulin in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Alianza FC's goalkeeper Orkatz Remolino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Avery Merrill. Orkatz Remolino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Avery Merrill in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Gwidon Seliga threw the ball into play from the sideline. Alianza FC's Jonny Murray quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Marin Ciprian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Marin Ciprian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marin Ciprian to make the kick off. Orkatz Remolino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avery Merrill in the 52nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Leopoldo Aimar could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Santos Perez however easily saved by the left post. In the 55th minute of the match, Leopoldo Aimar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Santos Perez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Alianza FC's Orkatz Remolino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Dutton in the 61st minute of play. Marin Ciprian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santos Perez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute Alianza FC were awarded a corner. Anselmo Greña went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 66th minute Marin Ciprian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Alianza FC's Anselmo Greña got a free kick in the 69th minute. Alianza FC made a substitution. César Domingues replaced Marin Ciprian. Anselmo Greña hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After 73 played minutes Alianza FC got a freekick which was hit by Long Jian Le. Alianza FC's César Domingues got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute César Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. César Domingues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st play minute César Domingues came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Santos Perez. 1-2. 86 minutes into the game, Persepolis F.C.'s Warner Anaya nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orkatz Remolino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Persepolis F.C.'s Léopold Castro was substituted for Warner Anaya. Orkatz Remolino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arden Poulin went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. César Domingues blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santos Perez having to make a save. 93 minutes into the match, Persepolis F.C.'s goalkeeper Santos Perez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by César Domingues. There was no doubt that Persepolis F.C. were the better team. Persepolis F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
