Cesar Donio came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Hispania's Eriberto Pedriza. But to his dismay, Eriberto Pedriza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Cesar Donio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lei Qian Peng, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Filip Kubala had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cesar Donio. San Antonio HotSPURS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filip Kubala was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Hispania's Arif Memduh Akova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonso Snider in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match San Antonio HotSPURS got a corner. Hispania's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Artemio Norino ran over to the corner to take the kick. Leroy Vega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Antonio Corley fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Antonio HotSPURS's protests and gave Antonio Corley a yellow card for diving instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alonso Snider was the one to do the kick off. If Filip Kubala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lei Qian Peng in the 61st minute of play forced San Antonio HotSPURS's goalkeeper Cesar Donio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesar Donio was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Filip Kubala capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Filip Kubala really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5.
