After having played for 7 minutes, Stefan Zdeb managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cidry Rojca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefan Zdeb was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jerzy Dudek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikolaj Golob in the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Olgierd Gierasik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerzy Dudek was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jerzy Dudek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryszard Podolski, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 18th minute, Ryszard Podolski made a precise shot to the right of Jerzy Dudek. SS SuperSonics's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. SS SuperSonics's Jerzy Dudek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Podolski in the 21st minute of play. Jerzy Dudek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Podolski in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute Wincenty Chlebek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radowit Sedzikowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Zdzislaw Dembowski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cidry Rojca's Radowit Sedzikowski did a great save. In the 36th minute, Tayyip İzci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, SS SuperSonics's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Lewandowski came free, but Jerzy Dudek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute Mikolaj Golob shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Dudek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

If Miguel Almiron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radowit Sedzikowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wincenty Chlebek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leszek Chwalkiewicz made in the 70th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Stefan Zdeb however managed to control. Cidry Rojca's supporters rose to their feet, but Ryszard Podolski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerzy Dudek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SS SuperSonics's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Mikolaj Golob scored to the left of an out of position Jerzy Dudek, making the score, 0-5.
