The corner led Vaqueteros FC's Venancio Victoro to fire away a dangerous shot which Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 8th minute, Tosun Paşa made a precise shot to the right of Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein. C.A.River Plate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 18th minute of the match Vaqueteros FC got a corner. C.A.River Plate's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tosun Paşa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tosun Paşa in the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tosun Paşa in the 40th minute of play forced C.A.River Plate's goalkeeper Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vaqueteros FC's Venancio Victoro got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Sun Shi Xi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Javier Tono came out and tried to block the shot, but Sun Shi Xi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 52nd minute. After having played for 55 minutes, Tosun Paşa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vaqueteros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tosun Paşa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute of the match, Talha Özakan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Javier Tono was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Vaqueteros FC booed when C.A.River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bortzaioriz Palos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vaqueteros FC made a substitution. Fikret Uluğ replaced Tosun Paşa. After a rather tough play, C.A.River Plate's Bortzaioriz Palos got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 68 played minutes, Vaqueteros FC's Venancio Victoro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vaqueteros FC reached it. After a rather tough play, C.A.River Plate's Sun Shi Xi got a free kick in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Fikret Uluğ had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein. C.A.River Plate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fikret Uluğ was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 81st match minute, C.A.River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Obano West to maneuver through the defense. Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fikret Uluğ's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Vaqueteros FC were victorious despite being under pressure from C.A.River Plate for much of the match.
