The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Characate FC's Osvaldo Daunte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witold Gotfryd in the 6th minute of play. Zacarias Francesco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Nicky Williamson made a huge save. Nicky Williamson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nestor Gaxan in the 13th minute. Characate FC were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after ♣¥ OS IMPOSSIVEIS ¥♣'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emre Can took the corner. The corner ended in Emre Can almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ♣¥ OS IMPOSSIVEIS ¥♣'s Nicky Williamson did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nestor Gaxan got free with Nicky Williamson in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zacarias Francesco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nestor Gaxan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicky Williamson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Francesco in the 32nd minute of the match. Emre Can could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Nicky Williamson made a huge save. 34 minutes into the match, Emre Can dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nicky Williamson, 1-0. 44 minutes into the game, David Lidman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Characate FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ♣¥ OS IMPOSSIVEIS ¥♣ the free kick. A collision led to Characate FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. David Lidman hit a great ball. After 46 played minutes Characate FC got a freekick which was hit by David Lidman.

The wind increased when Witold Gotfryd made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Emre Can hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osvaldo Daunte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto de Azevedo in the 54th minute of play. Zacarias Francesco took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicky Williamson. Nicky Williamson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Leopoldo Afonso put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Nicky Williamson. Osvaldo Daunte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witold Gotfryd, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Serafino Paez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 65 minutes, Leopoldo Afonso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Characate FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Afonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After taking down the ball on ♣¥ OS IMPOSSIVEIS ¥♣'s corner Witold Gotfryd fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Osvaldo Daunte quite easily take care of the ball. Orxan Alişanov hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, ♣¥ OS IMPOSSIVEIS ¥♣'s goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Afonso came free, but Nicky Williamson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Afonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dedé de Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 88 minutes, Witold Gotfryd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ♣¥ OS IMPOSSIVEIS ¥♣'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Witold Gotfryd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Characate FC fully deserved thier win.
