After 44 minutes, Delfim Bertassi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caatiba MZC and the XIN JIANG FOOTBALL CLUB players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ergo Muro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faruk Akram's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stanislav Georgiev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Ergo Muro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ergo Muro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanislav Georgiev, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The throw-in from Orhan Akram in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Caatiba MZC's Fahl Figueroa.
