With a little luck, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Higinio Aguilera got control of the ball when Kent Åkerström tried to sneak it across the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, FS Elite's goal looked a bit too open when Jyrki Sillanpää came free, but Tommy Falck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Indiana Jones recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FS Elite booed when Los Hijos de Doña Beija was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Osasun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Osman Ali Okutan was substituted for Alcides Baros. In the 57th minute, Ciro Osasun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Albom in the 62nd minute of play forced Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goalkeeper Higinio Aguilera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, FS Elite's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Brion came free, but Tommy Falck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goal looked a bit too open when Calle Lekberg came free, but Higinio Aguilera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Luís Fábio Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
