FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspar Ishmael was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rdth minute of the game Gaspar Ishmael who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montesclarense E.C.'s Edgard de Almeida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. André Luís Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Emilian Deliman made in the 36th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Marcu Lelescu however managed to control. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Luís Schmidt in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Napoleon Klewinski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute, André Luís Schmidt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The audience was convinced that Gaspar Ishmael's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgard de Almeida was relentless in the 54th minute of the game.
