Gilvan Sanches was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prosper Vandamme in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilvan Sanches saved Green Squad FC from getting behind. 1909 Tarnovia's Victor Curea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jessie Pinkman in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute Gonçalo Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Curea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jessie Pinkman in the 22nd minute of play forced 1909 Tarnovia's goalkeeper Victor Curea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Curea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jessie Pinkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The audience was convinced that Prosper Vandamme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilvan Sanches was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. After 36 minutes of play, 1909 Tarnovia's Prosper Vandamme made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilvan Sanches was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 43 played minutes 1909 Tarnovia got a freekick which was hit by Prosper Vandamme. 45 minutes into the match, 1909 Tarnovia's goal looked a bit too open when Jessie Pinkman came free, but Victor Curea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prosper Vandamme in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilvan Sanches prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

A collision led to Green Squad FC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Tadeu Cosme hit a great ball. If Jerzy Grocholski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Zenon Hetman managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1909 Tarnovia's supporters rose to their feet, but Zenon Hetman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilvan Sanches breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the match, 1909 Tarnovia's Prosper Vandamme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilvan Sanches narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prosper Vandamme in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilvan Sanches prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilvan Sanches stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prosper Vandamme's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Ulisses Antunes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Victor Curea came out and tried to block the shot, but Ulisses Antunes slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 78th minute. After some careless play in the 1909 Tarnovia defense, Jessie Pinkman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Curea. The 1909 Tarnovia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Curea should have stopped the shot. Victor Curea made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Jessie Pinkman sent off a good shot on target. Prosper Vandamme took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilvan Sanches. Gilvan Sanches dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. The 1909 Tarnovia fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when 1909 Tarnovia's Prosper Vandamme looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 1909 Tarnovia's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
