In the 8th minute, Marco Jazz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jazz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Flavinho Reis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by CE LAJEADENSE RS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joshua Hart was slow to take the kick. During this time Jazz's players had a chance to rest. Flavinho Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Jazz in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmine Bellisario in the 22nd minute of play forced CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Flavinho Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavinho Reis came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Jazz's Marco Jazz. But to his dismay, Marco Jazz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 29 minutes into the game, Celsinho Castro threw the ball into play from the sideline. Jazz's Pitin Gonca quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Marco Jazz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Flavinho Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Jazz in the 30th minute of the match. Celsinho Castro's late challenge caught a Jazz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jazz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bater Palma was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Jazz's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
