An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Edorta in the 18th minute of play forced Sannegården BK's goalkeeper Fredric Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sannegården BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Erik Mattsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anthony Meza might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Gelmiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
