In the 5th minute, Johan Sjöberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abdul Behnisch was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 22 minutes of play, The Charlatans's Johan Sjöberg made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abdul Behnisch was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ingvar Svensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludwig Kamper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Give Peace a Chance's Abdul Behnisch got control of the ball when Johan Sjöberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Hinrich Heinzmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Give Peace a Chance's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Charlatans the free kick. The audience was convinced that Ludwig Kamper's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ingvar Svensson was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. With a little luck, Give Peace a Chance's Abdul Behnisch got control of the ball when Johan Sjöberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Give Peace a Chance's Werner Zernicke was substituted for Lex Punke. Ludwig Kampers short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Ingvar Svensson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. It was a well-played corner which Zbigniew Grondzki managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Give Peace a Chance's attentive Norbert Focke managed to snatch the ball when Evert Johansson made a throw-in in the 64th minute of the game. If Mattias Hilger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ingvar Svensson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mattias Hilger in the 67th minute. Mattias Hilger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Svensson having to interfere. The Charlatans made a substitution. John Kuse replaced Henric Lundgren. Mattias Hilger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Ingvar Svensson made a huge save. Mattias Hilger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 90 minutes into the match, Nils-Åke Nilsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdul Behnisch. Give Peace a Chance's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nils-Åke Nilsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. A collision led to Give Peace a Chance getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Zbigniew Grondzki hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Nils-Åke Nilsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abdul Behnisch was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 97th minute, Evert Johansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the The Charlatans players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
