Tommy Boylin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giorgio March having to make a save. Giorgio March made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Boylin in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Almkvist in the 5th minute of play forced SoS FC's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Larsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SoS FC's Karl-Erik Larsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save SoS FC from getting a goal against them. Tommy Boylin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl-Erik Larsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Almkvist in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Run Run threw the ball into play from the sideline. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Saul Roman quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Christian Almkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl-Erik Larsson having to make a save. With a little luck, SoS FC's Karl-Erik Larsson got control of the ball when Christian Almkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karl-Erik Larsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Almkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When Christian Almkvist came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Almkvist couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, SoS FC's Run Run got a free kick in the 34th minute. With an all-out effort, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Karl-Erik Larsson threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Christian Almkvist, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 37th minute C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 were awarded a corner. Saul Roman went to the cornerflag to take it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Almkvist to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Gervasio Diagur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Diagur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Almkvist in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Erik Larsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind SoS FC's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Larsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 60th minute Tommy Boylin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgio March saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Erik Larsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Pedrão de Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Giorgio March made a huge save. Karl-Erik Larsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Del Piero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the game, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Alessandro Del Piero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl-Erik Larsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 94 minutes of play, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Alessandro Del Piero made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl-Erik Larsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
