Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Tadeo Jakobe made the kick off and thus started the match. A sloppy throw-in by Henric Villaquiran in the 6th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Newell´s's Indiana Turban. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Cordara in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Naldo Roig saved Picanya FC from getting behind. After 14 minutes of play, Picanya FC's Gaskon Gimeno made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristobal Estavan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Henric Villaquiran struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Cristobal Estavan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Picanya FC. 23 minutes into the game, Picanya FC's Gregory Bermejo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristobal Estavan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Ramón Valcarcel fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Picanya FC's protests and gave Ramón Valcarcel a yellow card for diving instead. Ramón Valcarcel hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. During the 29th minute of the match Ramón Valcarcel completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ramón Valcarcel a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 30th minute, Ramón Valcarcel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Naldo Roig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Cordara in the 34th minute of play. Faustino Maura kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Picanya FC's Naldo Roig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Maura in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Omar Cordara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Naldo Roig was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Newell´s made a substitution. Amancio Bilintx replaced Mattias Wallengren. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henric Villaquiran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Omar Cordara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Naldo Roig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Jakobe in the 54th minute of play. When Tadeo Jakobe came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Newell´s fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeo Jakobe couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Cordara got free with Naldo Roig in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amancio Bilintx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Naldo Roig made a huge save. Naldo Roig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Jakobe in the 66th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Picanya FC's goal looked a bit too open when Indiana Turban came free, but Naldo Roig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregory Bermejo in the 69th minute of play forced Newell´s's goalkeeper Cristobal Estavan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Picanya FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Jakobe came free, but Naldo Roig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Newell´s's Tadeo Jakobe got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Omar Cordara could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Naldo Roig however easily saved by the left post. Omar Cordara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo Roig having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Newell´s's Tadeo Jakobe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Naldo Roig made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Gaskon Gimeno's late challenge caught a Newell´s's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaskon Gimeno helped the player get up and apologised. Naldo Roig came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Newell´s's Amancio Bilintx. But to his dismay, Amancio Bilintx quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. 94 minutes into the match, Picanya FC's goalkeeper Naldo Roig had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omar Cordara. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baldovino Saura during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Naldo Roig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Jakobe in the 97th minute of the match.
