Esbjörn Forssell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Regis, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 19th match minute, Wrexham A.F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Söderberg to maneuver through the defense. With 22 minutes on the clock, Karl-Axel Eckegren commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Wrexham A.F.C. getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Karl-Axel Eckegren hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Wrexham A.F.C. defense, Ceferino Balasi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esbjörn Forssell. The Wrexham A.F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esbjörn Forssell should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Chicão Carneiro took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Esbjörn Forssell to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Wrexham A.F.C.'s Adrian Söderberg got a free kick in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Ceferino Balasi notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Wrexham A.F.C.'s Esbjörn Forssell. Esbjörn Forssell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ceferino Balasi to strike the kick off in the second half. Esbjörn Forssell came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP's Emilio Regis. But to his dismay, Emilio Regis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Balasi in the 55th minute of play forced Wrexham A.F.C.'s goalkeeper Esbjörn Forssell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esbjörn Forssell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Balasi in the 57th minute of play. Mustafa Birol Yavuzcan took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esbjörn Forssell. Esbjörn Forssell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Ceferino Balasi scored 8-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esbjörn Forssell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Esbjörn Forssell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Balasi in the 65th minute of play. Esbjörn Forssell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Regis, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Wrexham A.F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Balasi came free, but Esbjörn Forssell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Emilio Regis made a precise shot to the right of Esbjörn Forssell. Wrexham A.F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. Esbjörn Forssell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chicão Carneiro in the 81st minute of the match. Wrexham A.F.C.'s Esbjörn Forssell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Balasi in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Ceferino Balasi made a precise shot to the right of Esbjörn Forssell. Wrexham A.F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. Esbjörn Forssell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilio Regis went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. In the 91st minute, Chicão Carneiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esbjörn Forssell was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. In the 96th minute of the game, Ceferino Balasi landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sture Åhlberg during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP made a substitution. Segundo Rocca replaced Ceferino Balasi. Wrexham A.F.C.:s Esbjörn Forssell showed great skill when he stopped Bernardino Baumer:s penalty.
