The crowd rose to their feet as German Silvanito kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pál Benkó. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. The supporters of GAUJA booed when Leeds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Máté Szekeres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Qiao Mo Xi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pál Benkó having to interfere. German Silvanito charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed German Silvanito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. German Silvanito kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Pál Benkó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Lluis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, GAUJA's German Silvanito ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pál Benkó. Pál Benkó yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibor Dudics in the 22nd minute of play forced GAUJA's goalkeeper Toms Felss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Tibor Dudics's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Toms Felss was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. When Máté Szekeres fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leeds's protests and gave Máté Szekeres a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of GAUJA booed when Leeds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Máté Szekeres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pál Benkó acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Zigismunds Piekalns. Toms Skirmanis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Pál Benkó skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. GAUJA's Toms Felss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibor Dudics in the 32nd minute of play. Qiao Mo Xi had several of the Leeds's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 37 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Pál Benkó as he didn't even see the shot coming. 39 minutes into the game, Toms Skirmanis lined in a short shot 5-0 behind a frustrated Pál Benkó. After having played for 42 minutes, Toms Skirmanis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GAUJA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toms Skirmanis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 44 played minutes Leeds got a freekick which was hit by Imre Selymes. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.
GAUJA's German Silvanito got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pál Benkó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toms Skirmanis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pál Benkó didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toms Skirmanis went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Pál Benkó stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of German Silvanito's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the game, Mihály Szikora was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leeds's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GAUJA the free kick. In the 64th minute, Mihály Szikora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leeds's Pál Benkó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Silvanito in the 65th minute of play. German Silvanito scored 7-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pál Benkó, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pál Benkó showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cazimir Slătineanu in the 72nd minute of the match. Antonio Lluis took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pál Benkó. Pál Benkó dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Cazimir Slătineanu charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cazimir Slătineanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 84 played minutes GAUJA got a freekick which was hit by Cazimir Slătineanu. After some careless play in the Leeds defense, German Silvanito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pál Benkó. The Leeds fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pál Benkó should have stopped the shot. In the 94th minute Antonio Lluis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pál Benkó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that GAUJA were the better team. GAUJA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
