Hauk Thuen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Äşräf Ämrahov in the 7th minute of the match. Äjdärxan Cümşüdov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gorka Mendieta's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Şair Baloğlanov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Hauk Thuen made a huge save. Şair Baloğlanov kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gorka Mendieta in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Äjdärxan Cümşüdov saved Mübariz Team from getting behind. Hauk Thuen made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Adışirin Azayev sent off a good shot on target. Äjdärxan Cümşüdov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gorka Mendieta, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Mübariz Team's Şakir Adişirinov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hauk Thuen. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. In the 24th minute Gorka Mendieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Äjdärxan Cümşüdov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ronald Groneberg kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Habil Rzayev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Cotinguiba Esporte Clube-'s Hauk Thuen got control of the ball when Adışirin Azayev tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Raimundo Vilela's late challenge caught a Mübariz Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raimundo Vilela helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cotinguiba Esporte Clube-'s Raimundo Vilela got a free kick in the 59th minute. Äjdärxan Cümşüdov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Barbosa in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adışirin Azayev in the 69th minute of play forced Cotinguiba Esporte Clube-'s goalkeeper Hauk Thuen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Leonardo Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cotinguiba Esporte Clube-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Severo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Äjdärxan Cümşüdov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Şair Baloğlanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hauk Thuen having to interfere. In the 76th minute Äşräf Ämrahov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hauk Thuen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mübariz Team's zone, Éder Guimarães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Äjdärxan Cümşüdov came out of the goal and Éder Guimarães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 84 played minutes Mübariz Team got a freekick which was hit by Göyüş Ziyadov. Almiro Brito's late challenge caught a Mübariz Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The supporters of Mübariz Team booed when Cotinguiba Esporte Clube- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Almiro Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Adışirin Azayev sped through Cotinguiba Esporte Clube-'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hauk Thuen. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mübariz Team fully deserved thier win.
