An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuele Brandolini in the 7th minute of play forced Söderströms IF's goalkeeper Hugo Törnqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Törnqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvise De Rossi in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Ermanno Ferrini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CA Boca Jrs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Edmondo Frezza shot a long shot in the 17th minute and a light blocked Hugo Törnqvist hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-3. After a rather tough play, Söderströms IF's Calle Mellbad got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute of the match Edmondo Frezza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hugo Törnqvist skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Alvise De Rossi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Törnqvist was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Söderströms IF's Torsten Bengtsson got a free kick in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Söderströms IF's zone, Alvise De Rossi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Törnqvist came out of the goal and Alvise De Rossi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Ermanno Ferrini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Söderströms IF's Hugo Törnqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Söderströms IF's Hugo Törnqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvise De Rossi in the 33rd minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Alvise De Rossi notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Söderströms IF's Hugo Törnqvist. Hugo Törnqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd minute Ermanno Ferrini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Törnqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henry Soned hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Alvise De Rossi notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Söderströms IF's Hugo Törnqvist. Hugo Törnqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 50th minute, Calle Mellbad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Törnqvist came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by CA Boca Jrs's Alvise De Rossi. But to his dismay, Alvise De Rossi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Hugo Törnqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvise De Rossi in the 57th minute of play. When Enzo Cinalli, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 59 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Hugo Törnqvist was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 63 played minutes CA Boca Jrs got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Di Rocco. CA Boca Jrs were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Söderströms IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmondo Frezza took the corner. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Enzo Cinalli advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-7 in the 67th minute. Ermanno Ferrini's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Hugo Törnqvist skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 75 minutes Söderströms IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmondo Frezza who took care of the corner kick. 80 minutes into the match, Söderströms IF's goalkeeper Hugo Törnqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ermanno Ferrini. Söderströms IF's Hugo Törnqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Söderströms IF from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes into the match, Ermanno Ferrini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Törnqvist. Söderströms IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ermanno Ferrini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. After some careless play in the Söderströms IF defense, Emiliano Di Luzio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Törnqvist. The Söderströms IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Törnqvist should have stopped the shot. Emanuele Brandolini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Hugo Törnqvist made a huge save. The Söderströms IF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CA Boca Jrs's performance. The match ended with a win for CA Boca Jrs.
