When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Natalio Txeru made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Natalio Txeru got free with Olavo Pinto in the 50th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cassandros Elite Team's Olavo Pinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sancar Yağınalp in the 53rd minute of play. Olavo Pinto was a little too slow when Sancar Yağınalp got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 61st minute, Emílio Bandeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sancar Yağınalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pantelis Kotoulas in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olavo Pinto saved Cassandros Elite Team from getting behind. In the 66th minute Sancar Yağınalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Pinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olavo Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cumhur Savaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The Real Salsa F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Real Salsa F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
