Anier Manny charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anier Manny the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Henry Nordkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Eguen having to interfere. Robinho Salgado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Thomas Ravelli made a huge save. Thomas Ravelli came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Matheu City FC's Minas Makris. But to his dismay, Minas Makris quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Stig-Arne Wallander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thomas Ravelli stood somewhat misplaced when Minas Makris came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 22 minute. Minas Makriss short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Thomas Ravelli to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 28 minutes into the game, Robinho Salgado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Thomas Ravelli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lennart Browall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Eguen having to interfere. Minas Makris who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Thomas Ravelli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Minas Makriss short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Thomas Ravelli to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thomas Ravelli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Minas Makris went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 47th match minute, Motståndarlaget was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rob Toppinen to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Minas Makris managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matheu City FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Minas Makris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Ravelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

In the 51st minute Ruperto Serafo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Ravelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Minas Makris came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Matheu City FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Minas Makris couldn't finish the play. Jano Maciel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Celedonio Eguen firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jano Maciel got free with Celedonio Eguen in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thomas Ravelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robinho Salgado in the 56th minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Ravelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Minas Makris sped through Motståndarlaget's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thomas Ravelli. Minas Makris blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thomas Ravelli having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Minas Makris in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Ravelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Matheu City FC booed when Motståndarlaget was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jano Maciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd match minute, Motståndarlaget was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrik Aronsson to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Motståndarlaget's Henry Nordkvist got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 88thth minute of the game Minas Makris who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Motståndarlaget's Thomas Ravelli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robinho Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Ravelli having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Robinho Salgado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Ravelli was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Ronny Wik kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. With a little luck, Matheu City FC's Celedonio Eguen got control of the ball when Jano Maciel tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Matheu City FC had won after a very even match.
