An unexpectedly hard shot by Costin Onaca in the 17th minute of play forced KIA KAHA's goalkeeper Fabio Santilli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Slakun FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Celso Banegas in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Casomiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The KIA KAHA fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when KIA KAHA's Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fabio Santilli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Ibar, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Casomiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of KIA KAHA booed when Slakun FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Eguntsenti didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Billy Andberg in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Casomiro saved Slakun FC from getting behind. Slakun FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
