The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leon Pilkington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Martinez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute Fan Xing Zhou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Pilkington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Pilkington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fan Xing Zhou in the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fan Xing Zhou in the 10th minute of play forced Abasto FC's goalkeeper Leon Pilkington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abasto FC's Leon Pilkington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costin Duca in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute of the match Torcuato Herrero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leon Pilkington showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 17th minute Pablo Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Pilkington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 minutes of play, Salmuera CP's Pablo Martinez made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leon Pilkington was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fan Xing Zhou in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon Pilkington saved Abasto FC from getting behind. 21 minutes into the match, Abasto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fan Xing Zhou came free, but Leon Pilkington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Fan Xing Zhou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salmuera CP's supporters rose to their feet, but Fan Xing Zhou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Pilkington breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th match minute, Abasto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Quexal to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Abasto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Torcuato Herrero came free, but Leon Pilkington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abasto FC's Leon Pilkington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fan Xing Zhou in the 33rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fan Xing Zhou in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon Pilkington saved Abasto FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costin Duca in the 37th minute of play forced Abasto FC's goalkeeper Leon Pilkington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fan Xing Zhou struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Leon Pilkington didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salmuera CP. Abasto FC's Leon Pilkington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costin Duca in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute Fan Xing Zhou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Pilkington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fan Xing Zhou stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Salmuera CP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Martinez to maneuver through the defense. Abasto FC's Bonifacio Oliverios was substituted for Gabriel-Omar Batista. In the 63rd minute Salmuera CP were awarded a corner. Torcuato Herrero went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Torcuato Herrero got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leon Pilkington quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fan Xing Zhou came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leon Pilkington could save by the left post. Fan Xing Zhou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leon Pilkington didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Salmuera CP's Fan Xing Zhou shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Fan Xing Zhou took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Leon Pilkington to make any attempt to save it. Leon Pilkington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fan Xing Zhou in the 83rd minute of the match. When Fan Xing Zhou came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Salmuera CP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fan Xing Zhou couldn't finish the play. Leon Pilkington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costin Duca in the 86th minute of the match. Leon Pilkington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fan Xing Zhou, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fan Xing Zhou in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon Pilkington saved Abasto FC from getting behind. In the last second Leon Pilkington throw himself and got hold of the ball when Fan Xing Zhou in the 88thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Leon Pilkington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fan Xing Zhou in the 90th minute of the match. When Salmuera CP's Fan Xing Zhou in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Abasto FC's goalie prevented a goal. Salmuera CP played a much better game than Abasto FC and deserved their victory. The Abasto FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
