Snubbinhoz FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cusco FC the free kick. Cusco FC were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Snubbinhoz FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carlos Zambrano took the corner. After taking down the ball on Cusco FC's corner Carlos Zambrano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jörgen Askelöf quite easily take care of the ball.
