Grzegorz Szamotulski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Puste Kufle Siemianowice's Grzegorz Szamotulski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nino Schurter in the 16th minute of play. Puste Kufle Siemianowice's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Alain Berset scored to the left of an out of position Grzegorz Szamotulski, making the score, 2-0. Gregor Kobel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Pryla, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alain Berset in the 21st minute of play forced Puste Kufle Siemianowice's goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rogelio Montez got free with Grzegorz Szamotulski in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alain Berset's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Grzegorz Szamotulski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alain Berset who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Grzegorz Szamotulski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Espen Steelers's Alain Berset came free and shot a quick shot against goal 35 minutes in the game, fortunately Grzegorz Szamotulski had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Grzegorz Szamotulski was a little too slow when Alain Berset got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 4-0. After having played for 47 minutes, Wincent Kosowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puste Kufle Siemianowice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wincent Kosowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Grzegorz Szamotulski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alain Berset's shot from short distance in the 50th minute. Alain Berset sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Puste Kufle Siemianowice's goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 58 minutes of play, Espen Steelers's Nino Schurter made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Grzegorz Szamotulski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Grzegorz Szamotulski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alain Berset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Alain Berset had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Grzegorz Szamotulski. Puste Kufle Siemianowice's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alain Berset was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Espen Steelers's Ştefan Lupea was substituted for Rogelio Montez. Espen Steelers's Marco Odermatt was substituted for Raffaelo Berger. Grzegorz Szamotulski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nino Schurter in the 70th minute of the match.
