Nelson Cloarec acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 11th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rayko Tzonkin. Thomas Sørensen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Étienne Lebret in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davy Giacomoni in the 14th minute of play forced FC Grivata's goalkeeper Thomas Sørensen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Eero Grönholm recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nelson Cloarec. Eero Grönholm showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Nelson Cloarec didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sava Chuchev went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sava Chuchev in the 25th minute of play forced Formation Pure Lyonnaise's goalkeeper Nelson Cloarec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eero Grönholm scored 5-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nelson Cloarec, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sava Chuchev in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nelson Cloarec prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eero Grönholm in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nelson Cloarec, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tzvetoslav Serdev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Nelson Cloarec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nelson Cloarec was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Sava Chuchev capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sava Chuchev really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Davy Giacomoni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nelson Cloarec came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Grivata's Sava Chuchev. But to his dismay, Sava Chuchev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 16-0. Nelson Cloarec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eero Grönholm in the 95th minute of the match. Tzvetoslav Serdev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Grivata's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
