Arnaldo Johansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Froilan Dimas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, DZ Blue's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Sidoro came free, but Isidoro Valentine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th match minute, DZ Blue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börje Fristedt to maneuver through the defense. DZ Blue's Isidoro Valentine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Sidoro in the 18th minute of play. Eron Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Valentine having to interfere. Thiago Nueva took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isidoro Valentine. Isidoro Valentine dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When Claes Rudqvist fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DZ Blue's protests and gave Claes Rudqvist a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd match minute, DZ Blue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claes Rudqvist to maneuver through the defense. Isidoro Valentine stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santiago Sidoro's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claes Rudqvist in the 37th minute of play forced Armilla's goalkeeper Froilan Dimas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Claes Rudqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DZ Blue fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. If Börje Fristedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidoro Valentine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Sidoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The audience was convinced that Santiago Sidoro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isidoro Valentine was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnaldo Johansson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Thiago Nueva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidoro Valentine was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Thiago Nueva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Isidoro Valentine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Alfredo Laredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Armilla's zone, Arnaldo Johansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Froilan Dimas came out of the goal and Arnaldo Johansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santiago Sidoro in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidoro Valentine prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th minute of the match Armilla got a corner. DZ Blue's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Santiago Sidoro ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Santiago Sidoro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Isidoro Valentine quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 67 minutes into the match, DZ Blue's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Sidoro came free, but Isidoro Valentine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 minutes of play, Armilla's Valery Grau made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isidoro Valentine was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valery Grau might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isidoro Valentine. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valery Grau ran back to his position shaking his head. 90 minutes into the match, DZ Blue's goal looked a bit too open when Valery Grau came free, but Isidoro Valentine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eron Machado during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st match minute, Armilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eron Machado to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute Valery Grau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Nueva scored 5-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isidoro Valentine, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Armilla's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
