U. de Tarapacá's Zheng Ning Peng managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aitor Japón in the 6 minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orfilio Orbañanos in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Froilan Dimas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Froilan Dimas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orfilio Orbañanos in the 14th minute of play. After 15 minutes of play, U. de Tarapacá's Orfilio Orbañanos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Froilan Dimas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valery Grau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Ariel Balboa made a huge save. Froilan Dimas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orfilio Orbañanos in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orfilio Orbañanos in the 29th minute of play forced Armilla's goalkeeper Froilan Dimas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armilla's Froilan Dimas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orfilio Orbañanos in the 35th minute of play. If Orfilio Orbañanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 36 minutes into the match, Armilla's goal looked a bit too open when Orfilio Orbañanos came free, but Froilan Dimas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Armilla defense, Orfilio Orbañanos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Froilan Dimas. The Armilla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Froilan Dimas should have stopped the shot. Aitor Japón made in the 41st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Eron Machado however managed to control. In the 46th minute Santiago Sidoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Balboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santiago Sidoro to make the kick off. Orfilio Orbañanos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Froilan Dimas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orfilio Orbañanos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Armilla's goalkeeper Froilan Dimas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Domingo Barcena took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Froilan Dimas. Froilan Dimas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 80thth minute of the game Domingo Barcena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Armilla's Froilan Dimas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Domingo Barcena recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Froilan Dimas. Domingo Barcena showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Domingo Barcena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Froilan Dimas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. U. de Tarapacá were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Armilla's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mark Devia took the corner. Muharrem Duman was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Ariel Balboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis-Miguel Parra, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Domingo Barcena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Froilan Dimas made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Domingo Barcena sent off a good shot on target.
