Thiago Arantes charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thiago Arantes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes F.C. Carmo De Kiev got a freekick which was hit by Thiago Arantes. Laerte de Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederic Burg, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The supporters of FC Berea booed when F.C. Carmo De Kiev was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oséias Lucas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Călin Onuț kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Luisinho Mattos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristide Mârzac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laerte de Barros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frederic Burg went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luisinho Mattos during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, Luisinho Mattos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, F.C. Luisinho Mattos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frederic Burg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erasmo Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 59th minute of the match, Frederic Burg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Laerte de Barros saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Eduard Zgondea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Laerte de Barros when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 67 minutes into the match, F.C. FC Berea's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
