After 38 played minutes Fifth Chicken got a freekick which was hit by Obi Kenobi. Alvinegro Carioca's José Carlos Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mieszko Borkowski in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Fifth Chicken's Cezary Bartochowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Carlos Sanches made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The Alvinegro Carioca players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fifth Chicken were winning 0-2.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atak Sehriyar during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Alvinegro Carioca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atak Sehriyar to maneuver through the defense.
