Hílton Cabral was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lucio Libertad showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. After 6 played minutes Nova Era got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Macedo. Alfredo Macedo made in the 12th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ATLETICO TOSODELMA's Niceto Eyague. Lucio Libertad's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hílton Cabral firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Lucio Libertad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th match minute, ATLETICO TOSODELMA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Eyague to maneuver through the defense. Atilano Cordarrel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilmar Veloso in the 30th minute of play. After some careless play in the Nova Era defense, Lucio Libertad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hílton Cabral. The Nova Era fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hílton Cabral should have stopped the shot. Hílton Cabral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Feliciano Quintyn went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Quintyn in the 44th minute of play forced Nova Era's goalkeeper Hílton Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Jailson Leão made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nova Era! 57 minutes into the match, Nova Era's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Cayo came free, but Hílton Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Ivo Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nova Era's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ATLETICO TOSODELMA the free kick. In the 60th match minute, Nova Era was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivo Silva to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute of the match Lucio Libertad sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hílton Cabral skillfully saved the ball. Feliciano Quintyn took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hílton Cabral. Hílton Cabral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Vito Freires short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Atilano Cordarrel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 69 minutes, Lucio Libertad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ATLETICO TOSODELMA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucio Libertad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Atilano Cordarrel managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Nova Era's Vito Freire fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nova Era's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gilmar Veloso in the 77th minute. The supporters of ATLETICO TOSODELMA booed when Nova Era was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Macedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Lucio Libertad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ATLETICO TOSODELMA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. In the 87th minute, Lucio Libertad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hílton Cabral was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Feliciano Quintyn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hílton Cabral having to make a save. Alfredo Macedo hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Hílton Cabral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliciano Quintyn's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. ATLETICO TOSODELMA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Nova Era for a fine match.
